The Controller uses User data based on their consent.

Specifically, navigation on the website involves the processing of the following data:

a) Navigation Data

The computer systems and software procedures used to operate this website acquire, during their normal operation, some personal data the transmission of which is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. This information is not collected to be associated with identified individuals, but due to its nature, it could allow the identification of users through processing and association with data held by third parties (e.g., IP addresses or domain names of computers used by users, URI addresses, and other parameters related to the user’s operating system and computer environment).

This data is used solely for the purpose of obtaining anonymous statistical information about the use of the website and to ensure its proper functioning, understand users’ needs, opinions, and requirements, and improve its offerings.

b) Data Provided Voluntarily by the User

When users voluntarily and explicitly send email to the addresses indicated on this website, GEEG will acquire the sender’s email address, as well as any other personal data included in the message. Such data will be processed solely for the purpose of responding to the requests received. The data may be used to establish responsibility in case of hypothetical computer crimes against the website.

It should be understood that whenever GEEG collects additional Personal Data through the website, the User will be invited to review the information in accordance with Art. 13 of the Regulation and to provide their consent for processing.

The Controller may also use data voluntarily provided by the User to communicate news and promotional opportunities for products and services that may be of interest to the User, only if the User has given consent.

In some parts of the website, there may be requests for Data to execute Services. In such cases, the processed Data are solely those provided by the User, such as name, surname, and email address.

In particular, the User can interact with the website in the “Newsletter” section. Personal data voluntarily provided by the User through the “Newsletter” section will be processed by the Controller solely for the purpose of fulfilling the request to subscribe to the Service.

When the User decides to subscribe to the Newsletter, we collect their data such as name, surname, email address, and workplace. We use this data solely to send the requested newsletter. After registration, our system sends an email message with an activation link to confirm the User’s subscription. This system ensures that the User is the actual owner of the email address and consents to receiving the newsletter. The newsletter is sent only after confirming the activation link in the registration email. Users can unsubscribe at any time by simply clicking the link provided in each newsletter.
